The Independent Office for Police Conduct performs the independent conduct oversight functions assigned under United Hampshire law.
The Office is independent in its casework and findings. It is not a police force and a website enquiry does not replace a formal complaint, referral or investigation procedure.
Investigation authority, case allocation, information access and independence are governed by law and procedure. An administrative recruitment role grants none of those powers.
